“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6 NIV
At KIT, we believe that the beginnings of fath are in today’s children and youth. The New Testament of the bible tells us that faith as small as a mustard seed will grow with proper cultivation and that nothing is impossible with that faith. It is our goal at KIT to grow that faith found in our children into that of the tall mustard tree. We must teach a child to follow the path of the Bible, for when he grows up, he will continue to follow what he has experienced.
We believe children need a safe, supportive after-school program where they can learn more about the Christian faith, have help with homework, and just be “kids”. Our staffs’ role is to ensure that the children receive a daily devotional, healthy snack, complete homework or remedial skills practice, and participate in physical activity and free play. Being together as a large group, talking together, sharing ideas, and playing together are essential parts of our program. Our staff is highly committed to developing the best in each child. We are pleased to work out a plan to address any specific areas of need with you.
